Episode 17.1 The People Under the Stairs
Friday Apr 19, 2019
Friday Apr 19, 2019
Happy horror Friday friends!
In the first part of this two part episode we cover the cult classic The People Under the Stairs. We follow our protagonist, Fool, around a creepy old house with something seemingly sinister in the walls. We got Wes Craven directing this bad boy, letting us know the rich people are bad way before Jordan Peele. Also, Ving Rhames never fairs well when a man with a gimp suit shows up.
We are going to try to release all new episodes Part 1 and 2 on Fridays and Saturdays for now on.

Welcome back to the flames! In this two part fireside chat, we discuss several movies from 2018. Many of these movies we've briefly went over in past episodes. Many we hadn't got around to seeing before, including some heavy hitting foreign flicks that may made our top 15 lists.

Episode 15: They Live (1988) & 30 Days of Night (2007)
Thursday Mar 07, 2019
Thursday Mar 07, 2019
Hello party people!
In this much anticipated episode we bring you another John Carpenter classic, They Live. Two lovable idiots uncover the truth behind inequality in 80's society. Starring wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper, this movie is full of one-liners, legitimate scares, and a one big F-you social commentary from Carpenter. Can this man do no wrong?
Up next, we have a different take on the vampire genre with 2007's 30 Days of Night, starring Josh (Steal Your) Hartnet. In the Northern most town of the United States, a small town tries to survive an invasion of piranha mouthed vampires during a month without sunlight or contact from the outside world.
We also discuss the best horror movies of the 90's, horror happenings, movies we've seen recently seen, and our Shot in the Dark segment about random 2018 movies we challenged each other to see.
Next episode we will be going back to flames in another fireside chat to visit the 2018 movies we didn't get to see before our top 15 episode. We might have to build an igloo due to the snow but this is happening.

Episode 14: The Top 15 of 2018
Friday Feb 08, 2019
Friday Feb 08, 2019
Welcome to the horror show! In this episode, we decide which horror movies are worthy of our top 15 in 2018. As untrained 'critics' our lists differ from the people who get paid to judge these movies. We're just picking our favorites as they appeal to us.
After the top 15 we have some extra top categories like: top actress, top actor, top child actor, top foreign film, etc...
Let us know what you think and give us your top 15 on our Facebook page under the same name as the podcast. Any feedback is appreciated! If you disagree with me, I'll fight you.

Episode 10: The Omega Man (1971) & Joy Ride (2001)
Monday Dec 10, 2018
Monday Dec 10, 2018
In this episode the guys explore the 1971 Charlton Heston "cult" zombie/vampire classic: The Omega Man. We also discover why you never use a CB radio to prank an unsuspecting truck driver in the newer movie, Joy Ride (2001). Breaker Breaker 1-9 we have a problem. (Spoiler Alert! Paul Walker is not the one you need to be worried about killing people with a vehicle in this one!) (I am so sorry!)
For our discussion topic we break down the best way to survive a zombie apocalypse and bostuna does his actors spotlight on horror royalty Tommy (MotherFu*****) Atkins. Famous for his roles in movies like The Fog, Escape from New York, and previously reviewed, Halloween III.
